BONE BROTH TO SUPPORT IMMUNE SYSTEM – WENDY BLANCHARD, M.S., CHHC

Bone broth is a wonderful and healthy choice to support your immune system.

During this health crisis, we MUST support our gut/immune system as this is where ALL DISEASE BEGINS.

This recipe is kindly offered by my loving daughter, Sarah.

Using the carcass of a chicken, use:

1 carrot, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 whole head of garlic
2 stalks of celery, cut up with leaves
Use enough chicken bones to cover the bottom of the pot
A little salt, pepper, to taste
Enough water to cover everything up

Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Use a crock pot if you have one, or in a soup pot on top of the stove on simmer for 24 hours. Strain everything through a fine mesh sieve. If you notice that the liquid level is getting low, then add a little bit more water.

Store in mason jars.
