Part of my self care is setting boundaries. It benefits my personal space and gives others information about my expectations and what I will, and will not accept.

One who lives in an ego based mindset takes my boundaries personally and is not in alignment with my journey, nor are they in alignment with Spirit. Their choice, yesterday, was to walk away. It is much easier to walk away than to do the work on self. If boundaries are a trigger for anger, that’s important information.

If one comes from a loving and compassionate mindset, and they are spiritually connected, they understand that boundaries are a healthy part of relationships…If not, they are living with ego leading them making it all about them.

I smile, I wish them well, I wave goodbye, and sleep soundly knowing that my wellness, body, mind and spirit is ALWAYS my first priority.

“Self care are the actions that we take to achieve wellness, and wellness is where we stand in our power!” – Wendy Blanchard, MS, CHHC
