WE ALL HAVE MENTAL HEALTH – LOVE, WENDY

Off

We ALL have mental health. We ALL experience emotions and feelings that are non linear and may build slowly over time, or they may escalate in a New York minute.

These emotions and feelings may be triggered by a variety of circumstances. We can be aware of our triggers and understand why we are experiencing these emotions by practicing self reflection, self awareness, self authenticity, and ongoing self care. Then, we can self regulate. We can build resiliency skills through ongoing inner work, awareness and prevention skills, and our self care. The more we build resiliency skills…the more we can manage and regulate our emotions constructively.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO FEEL HOW WE FEEL.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO CONSTRUCTIVELY EXPRESS OURSELVES.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO FEEL SAFE.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK FOR SUPPORT WHEN OUR EMOTIONS AFFECT OUR HEALTH.

WE HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO OURSELVES TO PRACTICE SELF CARE IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE WELLNESS…DAILY. And…

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE OUR TIME TO HEAL WHICH WILL BE A DIFFERENT JOURNEY FOR EACH OF US.

We never have to apologize for “feeling” our emotions, for crying, for feeling anxious or depressed, or for our need to PAUSE, to take a break, or to ask for help.

WE ALL HAVE MENTAL HEALTH.

Please be kind to yourself…Please ask for support…Please allow yourself to be truthful with YOURSELF…Please allow yourself to feel.

PRACTICE SELF CARE…

Remind yourself daily that you deserve to be well.

”Self care is the actions that we take to achieve wellness and wellness is where we stand in our power.”

Love and blessings,

Wendy
